Your First Choice!
We have Australian SAI certification for Tempered glass, proving that our tempered glass meet Australian quality standards AS/NZS 2208:1996.We are one of the few companies in the country that has Australia certifications.
Tempered Glass, also known as toughened glass,is a heat toughened safety glass. It under goes a special heat treatment to provice significant increase of resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses than conventional annealed glass. When the glass beeaks,it fragments safely into small pieces with dulled edges.
Feature
1. The tempered glass can afford pressure over 95MPa on the surface.
2. Good performance:anti-curve, anti-impact, 3 to 6 times better than normal glass.
3. It has high stability even under temperature changing from 200 to 300, the normal glass can only afford 70-100.
4. Sizes are produced as per customer request. Once tempered, it can not be cut down.

Production Equipment
Tempered glass
Tempered glass is treated to be far more resistant to breakage than simple annealed glass, and to break in a more predictable way when it does break, thus providing a major safety advantage in almost all of its applications.
Tempered glass is made from annealed glass treated with a thermal tempering process. A sheet of annealed glass is heated to above its "annealing point" of 600 °C; its surfaces are then rapidly cooled while the inner portion of the glass remains hotter. The different cooling rates between the surface and the inside of the glass produces different physical properties, resulting in compressive stresses in the surface balanced by tensile stresses in the body of the glass.
These counteracting stresses give toughened glass its increased mechanical resistance to breakage, and are also, when it does break, what cause it to produce regular, small, typically square fragments rather than long, dangerous shards that are far more likely to lead to injuries. Toughened glass also has an increased resistance to breakage as a result of stresses caused by different temperatures within a pane.
1. Five times more resistant to breakage than normal.
2. If the glass does break, there is far less risk of injury from broken pieces.
3. More opportunity for large areas of glazing without substituting your safety, including framless designs such as doors, showers screens table tops and so on.
